As someone who doesn’t usually stay in Airbnbs, I couldn’t have been happier with this one. The apartment was absolutely perfect for two couples, with two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms. The air conditioning kept the entire apartment cool during the hot weather, and the washing machine worked perfectly. Best of all was the location, almost everything was within a 15-minute walk, and the subway was only two minutes away. I genuinely don’t think there’s a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
Andrei’s place is absolutely ideal, it’s super well connected and the neighbourhood is lively enough while still feeling cosy and residential. Their space is beautiful – perfect for two friends/a couple. It was so easy to feel right at home. We have absolutely no complaints. If I were to return to Barcelona, here’s where I’d like to stay!
The apartment was Spartan which suited us fine as we did not spend a lot of time there. We just went to sleep at the end of busy days touring Barcelona. The person who oriented us to the place was very thorough. He even showed us where to hail a cab and get grocery essentials (very short walk). The Platelets restaurant across the street had outstanding food at reasonable prices. I slept in the twin beds which were a bit hard for my comfort so the next night I moved to the sofa bed and slept extremely well. We felt safe and secure in the apartment. There was a nice big bottle of drinking water in the fridge for us. We would stay here again. Although you can see the Sagrada Familia from the upstairs terrace, we took a cab there (quite cheap) in order to have energy to tour the basilica. Parking was about 2 blocks away and the garage was very secure. A good stay.
